"Normally there is an underlying feeling of have we done the right thing, when inviting someone into your home who is about to undertake substantial tasks and you have to embrace trusting them even if your not sure because you need a task done. I can tell you with absolute certainty that in under a muinite of meeting Ricky for the first time as he visited us on. the behalf of wren kitchens, that we knew that feeling was not going to bother us at all. It was more like seeing a friend again, and for a couple of pretty bad anxiety sufferers this instant trust and comfort is unheard of for us.

we were put at ease with all the questions we had, and put at ease with dealing with the challenges that come with getting your house ready to lose a kitchen for multiple weeks. we were so grateful to Rickys patience, understanding and constant attention and carrot ensure that we were happy, not feeling any stress and our dog absolutely loves him.

Every project comes with unexpected challenges that you simply wouldn't know until you get into it- Ours was worse than we had expected. other tradesmen would either make a big deal out of it, charge us through the nose, or worse - hidden it and patched things over. Ricky, treated our kitchen as if it was his own, with each of these challenges being carefully looked after and corrected with care. Even though we do not know much about the various parts that needed to be rectified and modernised from their original 1970's "ways", we were left feeling like we understood enough and it gave us an appreciation for knowing how the job should be completed, and Rickys finish to each one was perfect.

Fast forward to completing the project and some of our extra bits that we wanted, like customising the wren kitchen lighting to make it work with our Phillips hue system, everything we asked for was done to perfection. Ricky has given us so much more than a high end wren kitchen, he made it ours. We will be holding onto Ricky's contact details for as long as he'll be happy to let us. A wonderful, talented craftsmen who doesn't let anything phase him and is a true gentleman too. Thanks Ricky

Ricky first came to do work for me through recommendation.  He was very honest with me from the start which was good as he was fitting a kitchen and although it was costed through a company he told me that their quote did not include any pipe work that needed moving or any extra electrical work.  

He was reliable and on time always informing me if he would be late and asking if it was alright to work until later in the day.

While fitting the kitchen he became aware of some electrical problems that needed updating, this he told me about, recommending that they should be attended to but at no time did he pressure me to do the work.  

After the kitchen was completed, to a very high standard, he did fit a new consumer unit for me, again he worked cleanly and efficiently with as little inconvenience as possible.

I then booked Ricky to fit a new bathroom, he supplied me with a quote and we agreed on the work to be done.  He was helpful with advice and was able to answer all the queries that I had, offering advice when I asked for it on all aspects of bath verses shower, what was needed for each, under floor heating or not and what was involved.  

The bathroom is now complete and again fitted to a very high standard, the tiling is superb and everything is lovely.

While working on my house Ricky has completed other jobs for me which include making safe the banister rail, putting up a curtain rail, building a water feature in the garden.

I would totally recommend Ricky to anyone and I would not use any other builder for work in and around my property.  He is friendly, helpful and informative, working in a calm, quiet way and always willing to answer any question you may put to him.
